139 Blue Hut

Video-documentary based on photographs taken in Tankerton Slopes in Whitstable as part of my Artist in Residence Program.

A reflection of my art practice and journey. Reflecting on the void of the self, the lacks in people lives, my surroundings. 139 is the hut where I worked during 40 days & some nights.

THE MINOTAUR WOMAN
Ashford 2009
Street Life Performance

This performance artwork was part of my Art Degree Show. It reflects on stereotype conceptions and ideas related to nationality, myth, gender and culture.

As I came to live to UK, even though I had become fluent in English language, my background and accent somehow was in conflict with my surroundings.
This work is a reflection on communication and language.

Whoever said that the Minotaur was a man was probably another man.
