ON SLOPES

A reflection of time & space, the surrounding & the seascape, this video captures  a series of photographs taken as part of my Artist in Residence at The Little Blue Hut, Whitstable in 2011.
Music credits: " Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Leo Kottke

139 Blue Hut

Video-documentary based on photographs taken in Tankerton Slopes in Whitstable as part of the Artist in Residence Program. A reflection of my art practice and journey through art . Reflecting on the void of the self, the lacks in people lives, my surroundings. 139 is the hut number in which I stayed for 40 days and some nights.
"Today I am here, tomorrow I may not"

THE MINOTAUR WOMAN
Ashford 2009
Street Life Performance

This work was part of my Art Degree Show and reflects on stereotype conceptions and ideas related to nationality, myth, gender and culture.
As I came to live to UK, even though I had become fluent in English language, my background and accent somehow was in conflict with my surroundings.
So, this work is a reflection on communication.   "Made in U.K."

'As a statement, whoever said that the Minotaur was a man was probably another man'.
