The concept of "the self" is multifaceted, encompassing various contexts such as psychology, philosophy, and art. It includes our identity shaped by personal beliefs, values, experiences, and characteristics. My work aims to capture the complexity of our identities within the social and political landscape. As my art career evolves, so does the narrative of my subjects and my creative style. Each artwork examines the intricate layers of my artistic journey, contrasting the individual’s constant change while navigating the dualities of chaos and peace. This journey of self-observation invites viewers to engage with the complexities of identity and emotion. Throughout my career, my artistic style has evolved due to personal growth, experimentation, and a deeper understanding of my subjects. Initially, I embraced a more expressionist style, channeling raw emotions and immediate responses to my experiences. As I explored the complexities of identity, my approach shifted towards a more abstract style, allowing me to delve into concepts beyond the literal. Recently, my canvas work has transitioned to a more figurative style, driven by a desire to connect intimately with viewers and explore the nuances of human experience through traditional portraiture.
