M.A.L. Huguet (b. Spain) is a contemporary artist exploring innovative approaches across conventional and modern technologies. Rooted in curiosity and observation of everyday life, her work invites interaction and tackles subjects of identity and contemporary culture from various perspectives. Huguet aims for her art to generate transformation and connection, provoking emotional responses and critical reflections. Captivated by the representation of people in art from an early age, Huguet was influenced by her cultural heritage and the natural world. She began her artistic training in the Alabaster Design Industry in northern Spain and earned a Master’s Degree in Fine Art in England, refining her artistic expression. After graduation, X received the "Reina Sofia Scholarship" for Art Therapy studies in Barcelona and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Canterbury Christ Church University. She now combines her art practice with her role as an Art Lecturer, nurturing creativity in her students. Her latest project, "Nurtured by Nature," culminated in the series "Nature's Intricate Tapestry," showcased at a local gallery in Folkestone, featuring experimental installations, video art, and mixed media.
